Grade 7 : We will finish reading Mississippi Trial this week and will select books early next week to read in groups. Once those books have been selected, you should determine with your group the number of pages to be read each night in order to complete the book by March19. You should also be journaling each night. Journals are due on March 19 and must include at least 10 pages of entries and a final evaluation.
Grade 8 - We will complete The Boy in the Striped Pajamas this week. See above for due dates.
"Reading is thinking guided by print."
All activities and materials on Ms. Randall's Moodle site support different types of reading abilities including fluency, comprehension, and response to text. Critical thinking and informed action depends upon developing skill in each of these areas!
